Tasting Notes
Like a not crisp Kolsch
From the Nov/Dec 2014 Zymurgy, adjusted according to my whims:

Steep for 45 min in 4 gallons at 155*:
-1.5 lbs Pale 6-row
-0.75 lbs flaked oats

After steeping, sparge grains with 1.5 gallons water at 170*.

Boil for 75 minutes:
-3.6 lbs light Pilsen DME
-1.8 lbs wheat DME
-1.3 oz honey at flame out
-0.6 oz molasses at flame out

Hops etc:
0.05 oz Hallertau (FWH)
0.24 oz Magnum (FWH)
0.25 oz Hallertau (30)
Whirlfloc tab (10)
1.0 oz Saaz (0)
0.5 oz Mallertau (0)

After boil top off to 5.5 gallons. Wort chiller down to 70*, pitch yeast.

Prime with 1 1/4 c. Briess light DME.

Wasn't ready at 2 weeks in bottle. Effervescent carbonation at 3-4 weeks. Very yummy.
