Barley Crusher- where best to buy?

I think I need to break down and buy a grain mill. I notice that the Barley Crusher is available from Northern Brewer, but also can be ordered directly from the company that makes them.

Anyone have any recommendation on what the best way is to buy it?

I bought direct and had a great customer experience. Not the highest tech on-line store...but Randy is great to deal with.

Well, I bought from NB, and as usual had no problems with the service. I suppose it's nice to buy direct and give the guy a little more money - but if you're buying from NB and using the flat-rate shipping option, in effect anything ELSE you might buy has a $0 shipping charge.

In any case, good choice!

I think Bird brings up a good point. If you've got other shopping to do then NB is a good choice.

I bought mine direct. Considering Biermuncher's excellent customer service experience it seemed the best route.

I drove to Randy's house and bought mine, super nice guy and he stands behind is products. Buy direct from Randy and you will be happy.

i just ordered the 7lb crusher from randy a few mins ago.......couldnt find a dealer in canada, and his shipping charges are realistic
