anybody ever had an airlock and bung not want to stay in the carboy. brewed today and when I set the airlock and bung in it just keeps wanting to pop out. Anything I can do.

Yeah its probably the star san. I use a clean paper towel and dab the sides of the stopper or let it sit until its dry.
Pretty common with starsan...dry the bung off...

I dried it off but it kept poping out, so I put a board across it to hold it down. I am just curious if it will still seal up tight.
You needn't worry about a tight seal, anything leaking out (co2) will keep anything from getting in....
SOme people wrap the neck of the carboy in tinfoil to help hold the bung in place.

The inside of the neck of the carboy probably has a little star san on it now as well. I sometimes need to use a clean paper towel and give it a quick swipe to wipe off any star san.
