Why is my double IPA so damn murky? I've filtered out as much as I can but it isn't enough. I was going to bottle, but don't really want to bottle something that looks like this, unless it will clear up.

Wow.

Process? Recipe? How old is the beer?
 
Did you leave it in primary the entire time, what temp was it fermented at, did you rack out ALL the liquid including trub???
 
Yea man, be patient! Letting it sit for a few weeks in the primary will clear it right up!!

I moved it to the secondary after two weeks. It was at about 68 degrees. I tried to get as little of the trub as possible, I'm guessing some got through.
 
Will it clear up if I bottle now? I really don't feel like sanitizing 50 bottles again.
 
Yeah if its trub or yeast it will settle. Do you think it could be starch from incomplete conversion during the mash? You can test with iodine if you've got it.
 
I filled a small glass and let it sit for a while and it seems to have cleared up. There's just a cake of what-not at the bottom.
 
How cold is it where you are, you could cold crash your secondary for 48 hours in your garage and it will clear-up. Some heavy hopped and dry hopped IPA's I've done in the past would never clear without a good cold crash at near freezing and they still carbed just fine in bottles.

It's in my room right next to my computer, which gives off quite a lot of heat. My room is usually cold except for next to the computer.
 
10 days in secondary and still that cloudy ? Where or how did you pull that sample? I don't think the heat is going to give you that issue....?

From the spigot. It did settle after a while and looks more like beer than pond scum.
 
Honestly man I don't like to pull from the spigot because of the trub that I get. Try siphoning man, you will probably be seeing much clearer results then, not that it won't settle with time either way.....

You know I have had to many when I say man to much.... Ya know.... man....
 
Well, I bottled them and it looks like it filled with milk. By the time I had finished, the first bottle looked almost like a normal beer. Hoping for the best.
