regulator temperature

does keeping my co2 and regulator in the kegerator affect the reading the regulator is giving me? if so how
 
It will result in lower pressure in the tank than it would if it was around room temp (70's F). I don't keep mine in the fridge anymore but my garage gets pretty cold in the winter. I've noticed I usually have to tweak the regulator pressure slightly in the late fall (increase the pressure) and then again in the spring (decrease the pressure). Also the high pressure gauge tends to read in the green portion during warmer months but drops just above the red in cold months.
