All,

One of the pieces I'm trying to figure out is how to plumb my BH's immersion chiller.

I have a Superior 1/3HP Submersible Pump that I plan to submerge in a bucket (of some kind) of water that will reside in my keezer. This has 1-1/4" NPT as well as an adapter to GHT.

The BH immersion chiller has 1/4" SS tubing.

So I know I'll need to put tube fittings on the BH and adapt to something. The big questions are:

1) What size tube I should run in and out of the chiller?
2) Is there any reason I can't control the inflow to the chiller via a simple inline ball valve? Because I know I don't want to just let the thing run full bore.
3) Any recommendations on adapting the submersible (especially since the fittings will be constantly submerged - is brass ok or do I need SS)? I'm ok paying a little more for something to last.

Any advice is much appreciated! TIA.
