I just bottled my first batch. It is an English Brown Ale. The color is perfect, but it tastes I little bit watery. Is this normal before carbonation? I didn't get an OG but the FG was 1.014.

Yep...no worries. It takes a while for everything to blend, and the carbonation will help make it taste not so thin. Give it 3 weeks at 70F and give it a try. It will taste a lot different then.

Give it three weeks more after is carbonates and it will taste better too as the beer matures.:rockin:

I just racked my EPA to my secondary and u too thought it tasted a little watery. It was, however, very tasty!

Glad to hear it kind of a "normal" thing...
