8. days into cider homebrew and did a hydro test but the cider is merky, is this normal?
 
yea, it will take varying amounts of time to clear, sometimes it will never clear if you set the pectins. Did you heat it up? was it pasteurized? did you use pectic enzyme?

it was a complete kit i bought, just mix sugar in warm water, add, cider mix and yeast and leave for 7 days, no heating
