How long after fermentation do you guys usually wait before taking a reading and seeing how things are coming along? I am about 3 days in, and my S-04 has already dropped. I still got some a steady bubble every 5 seconds, but I want to make sure they are not dropping out with a lot of sugars left in. I am fermenting it at 64 degrees, and that seemed to be the middle of the recommended temp range.

I usually check after 5 days to see where its at. If its near my FG then I will check each day for the next 3 or 4 days to see if its stabilized.

Awesome ok.

I have a better bottle with the racking adapter. Would you suggest using the adapter or would I be better off with a baster/wine thief. Using my adapter would make it super easy lol
