I've been tinkering around trying to come up with a good American Pale Ale recipe lately and this is what I've come up with. Let me know what you think:

Brew Method: All Grain
Style Name: American Pale Ale
Boil Time: 60 min
Batch Size: 5.5 gallons
Boil Size: 7.25 gallons
Efficiency: 70%

STATS:
Original Gravity: 1.049
Final Gravity: 1.012
ABV (standard): 4.8%
IBU (rager): 46.69
SRM (morey): 6.06

FERMENTABLES:
8 lb - Pale 2-Row (76.2%)
2 lb - Vienna (19%)
0.5 lb - Caramel / Crystal 40L (4.8%)

HOPS:
0.5 oz - Magnum (AA 13.5) for 60 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
1 oz - Centennial (AA 9.7) for 15 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
1 oz - Citra (AA 11) for 5 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
1 oz - Citra (AA 11) for 7 days, Type: Pellet, Use: Dry Hop

MASH STEPS:
1) Temperature, Temp: 154 F, Time: 60 min, Amount: 14 qt, Strike temp = 168
2) Infusion, Temp: 170 F, Time: 10 min, Amount: 7 qt, Mashout
3) Sparge, Temp: 170 F, Time: 10 min, Amount: 15 qt, ~185F

YEAST:
Fermentis / Safale - Safale - American Ale Yeast US-05

I'm open to suggestions on everything, but I had a question about the hop schedule. I was thinking about splitting the centennial and citra up over the 15 and 5 additions like this:

HOPS:
0.5 oz - Magnum (AA 13.5) for 60 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
0.5 oz - Centennial (AA 9.7) for 15 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
0.5 oz - Citra (AA 11) for 15 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
0.5 oz - Centennial (AA 9.7) for 5 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
0.5 oz - Citra (AA 11) for 5 min, Type: Pellet, Use: Boil
1 oz - Citra (AA 11) for 7 days, Type: Pellet, Use: Dry Hop

What do you think?

recipe looks fine if it were me i would add a 10 min addition of either cent or citra in addition to what you have
