Can I use this bucket?

Want to get some Strawberry Mead going. I had left a ball jar cap in my plastic fermenter and it left a stain. I soaked it in dish detergent, soaked in PBW and the ring is still there. It is soaking in StarSan now. Should I risk it or bite the bullet and buy a new fermenter on Tuesday?
 
Try oxlyclean. Starsan is more a sanitizer than cleanser, so I don't think it will do much
 
The StarSan was to sanitize. I used PBW and dish detergent to clean. I guess my question is, can the ring (stain) contain bugs that is found in rust even after using StarSan?
 
sounds like its a stain from a jelly jar lid or something.

since some organic dyes (liek from fruit) can stain but still be 'clean' its probably not that big a deal to use it.
