Alright guys I'm having difficulties keeping my malts straight.
Help me understand this if you please. I've used Munich10L, and I've used Munich 30-37L both from Gambrinus. I see in a recipe the mention of a "Cara-Munich". What is this?

CaraMunich is a European crystal malt of medium color.

Right. Munich malts are base malts, and can be used up to 100% of the grainbill.

Any malts that start with "cara" are caramel malts. Caravienne, caramunich, carastan, etc, are all different crystal/caramel malts.

Also i think that most malts that start with "cara" are copyrighted by Weyerman. I know for sure that carapils is one of them.
