Searched couldnt find.

Also happy 4th all.

On my second brew I messed up and dumped my boiled priming sugar directly into my bottling bucket 2 minutes after it finished boiling think I had too many today...

I used 2 cups of water and 3/4 cup of dextrose.

Question is did I just kill off all my yeasty buddies in my brew and now I need to repitch to bottle carbonate? Or is it RDWHAHB.

Thanks appreciate it.

Two cups of boiling water is not going to raise the temperature very much in a 5 gallon batch. Yeah, relax.

Thanks a lot guys. I went ahead an bottled and cross fingers. Love this forum and love America. Wish you all a great next week all!

i usually do this. sometimes I pour the priming mixture in and let it cool for 10 min or so, but usually i just transfer right onto the hot liquid. I've never had a problem with carbonation
