I'm in the early stages of putting together a kegging system and have some 3/8" ID air hose like this (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=42184) laying around. Is this appropriate for a gas line hookup or do I need to use a different kind of hose? As always, thanks in advance for the help.

I agree, i would just pick some new line, its pretty cheap around $0.50-0.75 a foot so its not worth risking.

Those rubber hoses are terrible, they crack easily and as mentioned earlier, stink.
