Haha, that's almost exactly how I did part of my label for my IIPA called "HopNade", but come to find out thebrewingnetwork.com has the same concept for a logo, lame. Couldn't find the name I came up with anywhere though.

Thievery of the BN, but go for it... just don't call it original.
I had no idea thebrewingnetwork had this as their logo, I have never been there till today. They are the same concept but I think mine is better and I came up with mine independently so I don't really see it as theft.

Why don't you try a military-type stencil font?
