How long can milled grains sit in a vaccume pack before you would toss them? Due to some health reasons I have been forced away from brewing, but I am back and have some supplies I need to either use or toss.

I've been told by a number of knowledgeable folks that sealed, unmilled grains can be use a year or even longer.

The problem for milled grain is oxidation. If you have kept it in an environment with out air at a reasonable temprature I would say that the time line would be measured in years.
