I am looking for PID that will suit for RIMS, after I"ve searched forum I am richer for few info's:
- PID has to have SSR output
- PIDs with 2 displays show current and set temperature, ones with one display show only set temperature
- we can use K-type or some other temperature probes

Please correct me if I am wrong anywere.

With that shown, what do you think, will this thing do the job:
PID DIGITAL TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER FOR KILN FURNACE OVEN ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE | eBay

Seller have SSRs in store:
Solid State Relay SSR items in Solid State Relay store on eBay!

Since I am from Europe and we use 220V, what SSR do I need?

Does "regular brewing" PIDs have ability to calibrate?

Also, what is the name of this coupling (where the thermocouple comes):

Hello,

The Pids you can get from Germany here:

Goto ebay.de and type in Pid and you will see hundreds of results.

Should be many choices there. Best of all this is within the eurozone, so no customs.

Temp probes here as well in Germany

Temperaturfühler -regler | eBay

Relays are here:

Goto ebay.de and type in relais

Thanks but few German sellers ships to Croatia.
I"ll try to mail them.

Any toughs about above PID?

I live in Germany, if it is a problem for you, ship your stuff to me and I will reship it to you in Croatia per dhl.de zone 2 rates.

DHL Paket International

I just found a couple of minutes ago a seller that does ship to Croatia

Take a look:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/PID-u-2-3-Pu...&otn=5&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=4404189773505190043

That temp control above is almost the same as the aubrnis and works with a multitude of temp probes.

They in fact seem to have everything that you are asking for located here:

For the above pid you talked about, I personally don't buy from Asia, I think that if you buy a cheap knock off of something you get what you pay for. I have learned a lesson a few times from buying cheap, so I now stick to quality and stay away from Chinese made products.

Thats for sure, someone sometimes said "I am not rich enough to buy cheap things" and I have to agree with you.

I am close to buy Auber 2352, but since I am noob at electronics I am wondering will it work on 220V?

Also I dont see how many ampers does it have.
Can I connect 1.5kw heating element on it without SSR or relay (I need ~7A)?
