I picked up a pickle bucket today at a local supermarket. I washed it twice and it still reeks of pickles. I wasn't planning on using it at a fermenter or anything, but would it still be good for a sanitizer bucket? Or at least a bucket to soak the labels off of bottles? Thanks!

Good For lots of stuff....NEVER PUT BEER in one...less you like Dill Ale.
Labels = OH YA
Sanitizer = Do yourself a favor and get a spray bottle of starSan. Can't do better.
Soapy water for SWMBO to use while Washing the car....OH YA!

Bikini Car Wash heck yea! lol

I've got a spray bottle for the star san. I still found it easier to soak the smaller items though. Especially tubing.

Thanks y'all.

Why don't you make pickles in it? I'd love to reach into a barrel of vinegar and pull out a nice crisp dill pickle...maybe put them on a burger or two.....or get some pastrami and rye...........dammit! I'm off to the deli!
