Brew day Tragedy

Forgive me because i have sinned...

While collecting my Vorlauf, my mash tuns valve decided it had enough and gave way. luckily i had my boil kettle near by, but not before loosing ~2gal of wort.

Ohh the humanity... I came out to a final volume ~3.5 gal, but today is still a sad sad at the MadWeezel Brewwerks...

What Valve do you have, I've never heard of on failing.

The valve itself didnt fail, it tore the inner lining and i assume when i went to open the valve with the pressure behind, the warmth, and the tear all caused it to fall out. in hind sight i should had larger stainless washers on either side of the bulkhead.
