Hey all,
Here in Germany stout faucets cost about $170, but the stout spout (with restrictor plate, etc) costs about $30.
From my understanding the restrictor plate causes turbulence and slows down the flow of the beer, making the typical creamy stout head. If it is simply the spout with the restrictor plate that is necessary, then the remaining part of the faucet is irrelevant.
The question is, would I be able to simply connect the spout (with restrictor plate) to a normal tap and still be able to pour a normal stout with nitrogen?
Thanks and prost!
