If I took two 5-gallon recipes and doubled them could I brew them together in one pot to make a 10-gallon batch? Thanking about Cream Ale from DeFalcos.
5-gallon recipe;
4 1/2 lbs. light unhopped malt extract
1 1/2 lb. Brewery Grade Corn Syrup
1 lb. domestic six-row pale malt
1/2 lb. cara-pils malt
1/2 lb. flaked maize (corn)
1 oz. U. S. Hallertauer hops (bittering)
1/4 oz. Cascades hops (flavoring)
1/4 oz. Cascades hops (finishing)
1 pkg. Burton water salts
1 pkg. Windsor ale yeast (or Wyeast #1056/#1007 or White Labs American or German Ale Yeast)
1 pkg. Bru-Vigor (yeast food)
O.G. - 1. 048 F.G. - 1.010
Thanks in advance,
Bill
