I just brewed a California common and was going to reuse my yeast in an attempt to save a little $$$ anyway if i just through my wort from my next batch "creme ale" how might it come out?? Second i have an ale im going to brew next can i just use the yeast again? Thanks in advance!!

You can re-use yeasts for similar beers. Not sure I understand, but I'm guessing you have one beer in primary and you want to move it out and ferment another beer in there?

Generally reusing the yeast goes from a lower to higher gravity beer and a lighter to a darker beer. That said this is homebrewing so it will likely be fine although if you used the Steam beer yeast I would ferment it at the temperature range that the maker says will be optimal.

If you do this I would definately recommend that you have a blow-off tube installed as it is going to ferment hard and fast.

Welcome to the forums.:)
