5 days into fermentation and I checked my dry stout (OG 1044) and it has a very strong hydrogen sulfide odor coming from it, that is maybe a bit perceptible in the taste, perhaps due to the odor/taste overlap. I'm not necessarily concerned about the odor, I've had several yeasts with that rhino fart odor to it, but this is the first time I've had it with this yeast. This is a third generation yeast, and I've even brewed the same exact beer with it about a month ago, and currently have a pale ale fermenting with it too, and never have had this odor with this particular strain.

I can't find anything indicating this strain is prone to this, but does anyone have a similar experience? Could the odor be from something other than my yeast: bacteria perhaps?
