So I made my first batch of Kombucha. Everything seems to have went well, though it took about 3 weeks for the second scoby to grow. I live in Northern California so the temp in my house is usually between 60-70 so I know this is common.
I got some ph strips to test the acidity and the strips are saying it's either 1 or 2. I know this is too low, ideal is 3.2-2.5 or so. Is it safe to drink? Want to bottle it up to start the second ferment but this being my first time, I don't want to do anything wrong.
Thanks!
