hey forum whats up?
have been brewing several years now.here is my problem.
-irish ale-
8 lbs lme
1.5 lbs various steeping grains
dry mutons yeast/used a starter
s.g 1.050
stuck at 1.030
proofed another mutons dry yeast and added
didnt do much for another week
racked to secondery for two weeks but F.G stopped at 1.020

does this seem alright?
can i get the F.g any lower or is this ok?can i bottle as usual?

Munton suggests using Munton's Gold if you have much in the way of grain. Over the years I've had several batches stick, always at 1.020 regardless of where they started. If I keg them and let them sit for 2 months, the gravity comes down, but it's a slow process. So, I suspect you could bottle safely.
