1) Widmer doublt Alt. Strong. Malty. ehhh, maybe too strong. Got me plenty buzzed. Not great, not bad. Couldn't drink it every day, but a nice venture from my ususal.

2) Lagunitas GnarleyWine. I'll review it later, I'm still not legit after drinking #1.
3) Lagunitas Belgian style trippel. I can't find it on their website. Oh and see #2 for the review. Don't worry, I'll be back in a few hours.

I've had a couple bottles of Lagunitas GnarleyWine . It's a decent barley wine but is much better when aged. I just picked up 2 bottles of the early 09 old guardian barley wine.
Plan to drink one tonight and age the other for a yr or more.

Good call. I have some 06 Old Guardian and 06 Oaked Arrogant Bastard. I will open them someday.

Lagunitas GnarleyWine, actually just about any barleywine, is better after a couple years.

Ok I am drinking the trippel. First of all WTF? Lagunitas uses screw caps. Weird.
This think tastes fruity and sweet. I taste mainly pear and smell pineapple. Probably a little too sweet for me to drink regularly. I'm guessing that gnarlyWine is going to be sweet too. Maybe I should have gotten some of their hopper beers. hmm, oh well.
