Does anyone cut about an inch off the bottom of the corny kegs, to keep from picking up sediment???

I don't mess with mine. I give my beer a secondary, so there's little yeast going into the keg to start with. by the time it ages a little more and cools, only the first draw will have any yeast.
I sometimes haul partial kegs to parties, and that agitation never causes yeasty pours at the party or when it gets back home.
