1.3 gallons (16lbs) GloryBee Wildflower Honey
10oz Ghirardelli's unsweetened cocoa powder.
4 gallons of bottled spring water
Lalvin D254 (Rehydrated in goferm) I absolutely love what this yeast did for this batch!!!!
2 tsp (total) DAP - staggered additions over 1st 3 days during oxygenation
2 tsp (total) Fermaid K - Staggered additions over 1st 3 days during oxygenation

I might try this along side my mint mead
Might even try mixing the two- adjusted for size, of course.
 
Do you think a recipe like this would work with some of that Hershey's Special Dark syrup? mmmmm... I loves me some dark chocolate... :ban:
 
pure chocolate, since syrups may contain stabilizers and preservatives. I used organic cocoa, and its fabulous.
 
If you've got a Whole Foods or something like that, they might have what you're looking for
