Anyone brew beer for DVD/BluRay releases?

For example, Prometheus will be released sometime this late fall, which gives enough time to brew a couple beers and enjoy while watching the movie.

I'm curious if anyone does this and really puts thought into their recipes and tailors them to fit a character's personality?

Thats a good thought but too much thinking for me... I brew by necessity (i.e. funds vs. demand). Just curious, what would you make for Prometheus? Also, there is a thread here on brewing butter-beer for the harry potter movies. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/harry-potter-butterbeer-28094/

Well the movie was good and it sort of explained things.

I have not seen the movie, so I don't know. But using the movie How To Train Your Dragon as an example, you could brew a small pale ale for the main character since he's small and weak, and an RIS with a little cayenne and chocolate for Night Fury since he's a scary black dragon.

Don't worry, it was a funny face anyway, not one of disgust or anything. That just struck me as extremely geeky. Nothing wrong with that.

I gotcha. I thought u were talking about the reason to brew beer, ie to drink during the movie.

I still have 3 beers in my queue and will soon add a saison. I don't think I'll have time to get a couple Prometheus beers brewed.
