Does anyone have suggestions on the best yeast to use with Midwest supplies Drunken Farmer Belgian strong extract kit?
 
Well their website for this kit lists 3:

Lallemand Belle Saison Ale Brewing Dry Yeast (11 gram)
French Saison Yeast Activator - Wyeast 3711
White Labs Saison II Yeast WL566

I would probably lean towards the first one the Lallemand...The other 2 are liquid yeast and those tend to get fubar'ed in shipping..
 
I love the Belle Saison yeast. It ferments awesome at mid 60's....chews through anything you throw at it.
 
A single 11 gram packet should make you good to go up to an OG of 1.060. Above that and you may want to think about a second packet.
