So I was shopping for food yesterday, and in the meat department of WinCo, I saw these ginormous boilers for sale for $39.99. It said they were 52 quart, and although they're kinda thin, it'll work just fine for AG batches I'll bet. They come with a lid and a false bottom in em. The false bottom won't work for sparging, because the holes are too big, but I'm sure that could be finagled if you wanted and installed a spigot.

Anyways, just letting people in the Portland area know, if you want a large, cheap boiler they're there to be had!

Sounds like deal...should work well. Be careful w/ a spigot on a thin pot. Maybe a couple of large stainless washers on each side of the bulkhead to reinforce the thin pot might help.
