So, I brewed 24 hrs ago and see that my pet yeast clones are not feeding on their sugary solution. My possible causes:
Didn't aerate enough after pitching the yeast-- probably ok..
Too cold.... the stuff is 64 degrees (IPA) so I doubt it...
Hops in the carboy because my straining method was less than perfect; I suspect this if it's anything
Dead Yeast?? I kept the stuff in the fridge for a couple of weeks before using... was I supposed to keep in the freezer?
Any ideas why this might occur and/or if I need to do anything? I've never had this happen before..
I'll be patient but will be ready to act! Thanks!
