will post some more pics after I do a few tweaks and clean things, but most of the trial and error changes seem to be in the past... happy with the BCS, it is not perfect, but price for capability, web control, and logging make it more than worth the money..

4-hour Brew day:

open main water valve to system
hit wireless 'easy button' switch
-HLT fills through solenoid (float valve prevents overflow)
-Element powered when water is above element float switch
-wait for alarm while measuring and milling grain
press 'forward' button to move to 'mash-in' state (stops HLT heater and fill solenoid)
-Mash in - fill MLT and stir in grain
-open MLT drain and drain a gallon into bucket and return to MLT
^^^ difficult/not worth it to automate this phase^^^
-hook hose back up to pump, open valve.
-open RIMS to MLT return valve to bleed air, then close
press 'forward' button to move to 'Mash' state
-slowly open RIMS return valve to proper flow
-cover mash and let RIMS tube hold temp for 60 minutes
-HLT fills and heats again automatically
controller moves to 'Mash-out' phase
-RIMS heats mash to 168 and sounds alarm
controller moves to 'Lauter' state
-open 3-way mash return valve to fill Boil Kettle
press 'back' button to go to 'Sparge' state
-measure wort in BK, add as many gallons of sparge water as as needed
-stir and then re-set gain bed as in mash in
press 'forward' button to return to 'Lauter' state
-when flow becomes clear, fill BK
press forward button to end 'Mash' process and start 'Boil' process
-BK goes to 100% power
BK goes to 70% power at 205 for 'hot break' phase
-manually sanitize chiller (also good to stop any boil over)
press 'boil continue' button to start the 60 minute boil at 55% power
-clean MLT during boil, fill 5-gal cooler with ice and immerse chill pump
at 'spark-out', BK pump starts, chiller solenoid starts
when BK gets down to 90, chill solenoid stops and chill pump starts recirculating ice water through chiller
when BK gets to 65, alarm sounds
fill fermenter ,oxygenate, pitch yeast.
clean BK
relax

I see some of your posts over on the BCS forum where you were playing around with the JavaScript UI customizations. Do you have any of that incorporated into your setup now? If so can you post some info/screenshots?

Also what solenoid valves are you using?

I have the setpoint buttons for -5,-1,+1,+5 degrees/power
I have some graphical representation widgets, but they need updating... I will try to get screen shots this weekend

I am using asco redhat stainless valves, 1/2" for cooling water and 1/4" for brew water
