Last weekend, much to my suprise, I finished off a soda keg of Red Ale. It was an excellent beer!!! Lucky for me during the bottling, the keg filled up and I was left with enought left over to fill 11 bottles.....EXCELLENT I SAID!!!
Well tonight was the first bottle that I had from that batch and I have to say the bottled beer is clearer than the keg beer was. Is this a common effect?? Both versions taste (or tasted) great!
Just curious if anyone else has noticed this. I wondering if it was because the keg beer was transferred first and took some of the sediment with it and the bottle beer was from the top of the carboy (since the intake is on the bottom).
