Lost a damned good friend today. He was coming home from the Casino at 4:30AM, fell asleep and crashed into a tree. He's been doing this trip for 15+ years. He must have hit it big to be coming home at that time. Guess it wasn't worth it. Too young at 49. Had a wife and 2 young kids. He was a good husband, good father and good friend. Please join me in a toast in his honor....

I'm drinking a Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout for him right now. Sorry to hear this Poobah......

Condolences to you and his family.

+1

I've drank to the loss of many a friend.
To the family and the hearts that must now mend.
To the fun with my friend
All Too Soon been brought to an end.
To the times that we've had and the those that were left to be.
Let us hope I've been a good enough friend that somebody will drink one for me!

Here's me raising a homebrew pale ale to your friend. Prayers and condolences to all.

Something that not many will tell you is that it sucks and it's unfair, and it's OK to be mad. I know I was last time I lost a close friend. Again, my deepest sympathies.

Sorry to read that Poobah.

Thoughts and prayers sent to the family and friends. Going unexpectedly is always going too young.
