Hello,

Getting ready to start a new batch today, but after two cleanings my fermentor still has the aroma a citra hops I used in my last batch. So, do I just start brewing and cross my fingers... or is more cleaning necessary? If more cleaning, is something best for removing smells?

What did you clean it with? Does it have a tap,& did you remove & clean that? Mine has a tap on it,& I had to take it out & clean it. Smelled clean after that. Some say that hop smell stays in there, but doesn't transfer. So you should be ok...

First time I just used dish soap. Second pass used an Oxi mix.

Yes, it does have a tap. I removed and scrubbed that as well.
