I live in Savannah so I thought it only fitting that I brew a stout for St. Patrick's Day. I have the Northern Brewer dry irish stout extract kit and I'm wondering what I could add to have some fun. This is only my 4th brew and I'm ready to mix it up.
Any ideas for what I could add on brew day or during fermentation or even in the bottle? Would love to hear some suggestions.
The orig recipe is 6lbs of gold malt syrup, 1lbs english roasted barley (specialty grain) and 2oz. cluster at 60min.
