Hi all-

I have a new stainless steel pot that I have only done one batch through. Unfortunately I was a doofus when I cleaned up last time and must not have dried the pot well enough. I dumped extra bottle caps into the pot and a few other things for storage purposes, only to find that the caps have left about 5 rust rings in the bottom of the pot. I searched and found that most recommend using Barkeeper's Friend, however I haven't been able to find it and time (and money) is of the essence. Does anyone think it would be OK to use CLR?

Thanks a ton for the help!

Actually I just found an alternative solution. I remember my mother using Coca-Cola to get rid of surface rust, so I poured a bunch in the pot and let it sit for about a half an hour. Went outside a few minutes ago, used my scrubby sponge, and voila! The rust is now gone!
