It was surprisingly drinkable, I was suspecting it to be more syrupy than it was. Glad I split the bomber with my old man. 22oz of 16% would have been tough tomorrow

Definitely very drinkable for 16%. I wish I had one to put away for a year.

After dinner. Grilled white bass with provolone and pico de gallo over rice. So good.

The way it is written, it looks like that is supposed to be a recipe for Mosaic Rye IPA.

you been getting into those "special brownies"?

The way it is written, it looks like that is supposed to be a recipe for Mosaic Rye IPA.

Uhhh, to me it looks like a recipe for a citra wheat beer with special b in it for some terrible reason, but maybe it's the brownies.

This is all well and good, but ...

how many splits are you doing in the fermenters?
what yeast strain(s) are you using?

It's very hard to provide feedback without all the information on what you're planning. ;)

gonna drop it in my conical. did I mention that it's heated/cooled? if I haven't, it is.:rockin: not sure on the yeast yet. still not done figuring it out. was thinking of dropping the wheat to 1 pound & making it up with 3 pounds MO. and the Mosaic Rye IPA is what I had brewed, bottled, and ready to drink. and it's tasty.

one more SBJ! to relax, post-draft style...

What a draft! I think I ended up with only one or two of my first choices. Had to crack open an old guardian to deal with it. ;)

and for what it's worth, this is the way my mind works. one idea slowly becomes something else and then works out nicely by the time I hit the end. most times.

What'd you get for a conical? Jealous, but I'm going to win the 15gal ss one in this month's giveaway.

Something unlabeled I found in the back of the archive. Aaak! Not really drinking it, tastes of cider vinegar and paint thinner.

Well ****... I dont even know who I got. I didnt do the draft

Don't worry man. With that many people in the league, you never know. You might as well ride it out since dropping out is an automatic loss.

Wanted some bourbon and a beer. So I made a compromise

Edit: its a sour not bourbon beer. Not complaining

I had that a few months ago. I wasn't sure what to think at first. It's pretty sweet iirc. I might have to pick up another one to jog the memory.

FG sample of my Mild. Rebrew with a few small tweaks (slightly lower gravity, swapped the single 60 minute addition from Fuggles to EKG, and a different yeast strain). Will have to see once it's conditioned, but I think this version is even better than the last one.
