Hey there. Recently when I've been buying 12 packs and such and bring them home. I place them in my mini fridge. When I drink a couple the first night, their perfectly carbonated ( High Life). But then the next day I notice their much colder than the day before and not nearly as carbonated. I get a weak hiss from them when I open em up.

I like my beer so cold it hurts your teeth. Like 35 degrees lol.
Is the extreme cold doing something to them??

Colder temperature keeps CO2 in suspension in the liquid. So if the bottles were at the temperature when you brought them home at they would have more CO2 gas in the air space in the top of the bottle.

yeah the colder beers are actually more carbonated than the warm beer. less CO2 in the headspace means more in the beer.

So is it just not as noticible because it's subdued by the cold? That is what I'm thinking.

I turned down the Refrigerator from Arctic to Cold Ohio night. lol
