What up brewers?
I am very new to brewing. In fact I have never actually brewed.

I have not been a huge fan of craft beer but then I had a dark IPA. WOW this is really good.

The only experience I have with anything close to brewing is I have been aging my own Rye whiskey. I also roast my own coffee beans.

So now I want to brew some beer.

What would be a good book to start with?

A good starter Kit?

Thank you and I look forward to using this forum as a resource.

+1 on Palmer's "How to Brew", though if you actually buy a copy its a little more updated than what's on his site. Well worth the money IMHO!

Another book would be Papazian's "The new complete joy of homebrewing". It's also a good book to get you started, though I did find it pretty dated in some areas, especially the photos!

Either one would work well for you, though I would suggest Palmer's over the other after reading them both a few times...
