For those that participated last year. We've added a lot more.

Registration Site:

  1. This competition is BJCP/AHA sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older.
  2. All mailed entries must be received at the mailing location by the entry deadline - please allow for shipping time.
  3. All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or Brew on Premises operations, supplies, etc.).
  4. The Arizona Hops and Vines with its organizers are not responsible for mailed entries that are not received by the entry deadline, or entries that arrive damaged.
  5. Bottles will not be returned to entrants.
  6. Online registration closes July 28th 2014
  7. July 28th deadline to deliver entries.
  8. All entries must be dropped off at approved ‘drop-off’ locations or delivered to Arizona Hops and Vines by the deadline.
  9. Competition is open to homebrewers within the state of Arizona only
  10. On August 2nd we will conduct judging
  11. $7 per beer entry, and $2 for each subsequent entry. Check or money order payable to Buffalo Brew Club. NO CASH
  12. You may enter as many beer entries as you would like. However, only one entry per subcategory. For example; one in Category 10A, one Category 10B and one in Category 10C.
  13. 2 bottles per entry, brown glass 12oz bottles, no commercial labels.
  14. Categories 10, 14 and 16 of the BJCP beer styles accepted. Keep in mind limitations of AZ Hops and Vines pro equipment. Beers that have specialty grains, hard to find ingredients, fermentation schedules, or specialized equipment may win, but when brewed on the breweries system could be changed to meet cost and equipment limitations. ie… if your beer uses white truffle oil costing $16 an oz, when we scale that recipe, we will not be using that ingredient.
  15. Arizona Hops and Vines will match ingredients according to our current contracted suppliers and availability. If you brew an all Amarillo IPA, and we have no ability to source those hops due to shortage, your recipe will be changed. Arizona Hops and Vines will not give an itemized list of available ingredients. Use your best judgment, please don’t brew a New Zealand IPA and expect us to source Nelson Sauvin hops in September.
  16. High gravity permitted (Yes, we can brew high gravity)
  17. The Best of Show Winner gets to guest brew his/her winning recipe on AZ Hops and Vines system.
  18. The Best of Show Winner will be invited as a guest to release the winning beer on release night. (Note to brewer naming rights is left to the owners of AZ Hops and Vines). All intellectual property involving winning beer will remain AZ Hops and Vines
.
