Had a big brewing FAIL last night while moving my mash cooler with my buddy - One of the handles busted (as seen here) and splat it all ended up on the garage floor.

I almost called it a night there, but with much grit I re-milled 16 more lbs of grain and started it all over again! Everything went off without a hitch after the disaster, but I thought i would share my story to save others from such grief.

Brutal. I feel your pain. Out of curiosity, why were you moving a full mash tun?

Long story short to start sparging. I started brewing myself so I put the cooler next to the kettle to dump the mash water in without having to carry it far and lift it. I normally keep the mash tun on a platform for sparging.

I'm hoping this brew will just be that much better because of the fail!

Could have been much worse.
You could have been mashing in the kitchen, or the somewhere else indoors.
