Converting AG to Extract

You can also go to any of the online recipe generators and punch the AG recipe in. Then remove the base malt and add in extra light extract until you get back to the OG of the original recipe. I did this several times before I went AG and it works great (though I used promash instead).

1 lb grain = .75 lb LME = .6 lb DME

What tool in BeerSmith will convert it for you?
There is a tab above the recipes that says "convert". You click that and you can choose AG to PM or to extract.

I did not have a recipe highlighted. No wonder I could not find it. Thank you Yooper!
