I just finished my second brew, Brewer's Best Irish Stout that turned out delicious and I'm ready to brew again. I have been inspired by Four Peaks 8th Street Ale. and am looking for an extract ingredient kit for something similar without any real results. Anyone brew a Best Bitter from a kit recently that they can recommend?

My first batch was Munton's plain old "Pale Ale". Good enough to get me hooked on the hobby.

Get a thermometer if you don't have one and practice holding your steeping grains at mash temperatures. With steeping grains it won't matter if you are off by a few degrees for part of the time. Once you have confidence you can use some base malts and finish with less extract twang.
