i'm going on a trip to eastern europe (czech, poland, hungary) and was wondering what the great beers in this area are. any input would be great. im assuming they'll have imports from germany and belgium too, so i'll be able to get plenty of that, but ive never heard much about eastern european brewing or beer styles.

Just back from Croatia and found 2 beauties
Lasko and Ozujsko.
Lasko was the nicer of the two, quite a distinct flavour - woody or smokey or so.
Was very happy drinking both of them anyway!
Also have plenty of Guinness around the place for some reason - didn't chance that though - been bitten too many times before.
