thanks a ton for that info. I apologize for not thanking you sooner, as I didn't realize that my userCP wasn't set up to notify me of any responses.

I am going to bottle mine within 10 days. It's taken awhile to ferment. I'll let you know how it is. I sure hope it's at least decent. My sister said she tried some GF beers (commercial) and they weren't any good. She has no idea I'm brewing one, so I really hope it turns into a great surprise. Good luck with your GF brewing endeavors.

thank god for this thread revival, so much info. now i can make the wife some beer :D

The grapefruit IPA was my first attempt at GF brewing and it will make a very good beer. I would definitely start there, hands down your best way to dial in the basics.

Since then I've gone all grain and some of my recipes are up on brewtoad:

My latest, just kegged last night:

https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/batch-161030

This is a pale ale and it smacks of tangerines and biscuits. Not really a pale ale in the classic sense but I think it will be a winner in 2 weeks.

And my All Grain, improved version of the Ghostfish recipe above:

https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/grapefruit-ipa-v5

This one came out fantastic too and was similar to what the real Ghostfish GF IPA in a can tastes like.

I don't have a lot of recipes but feel free to surf mine and if I can answer questions I'll be happy to.
