I would like to brew my first extract kit using a full boil to try to minimize the "twang" but I'm not sure how to modify the recipe to account for this. I have a 40 qt kettle on its way so room will not be an issue. I know the hops need to be reduced when going from a partial to a full boil. Here is the recipe for my extract kit.

Thanks.

For an IPA I would just leave the recipe as is, no reason to reduce the hops.

Do you have a wort chiller? Quick chilling is especially important when it comes to hoppy beers.

Good luck.

No wort chiller but I'm thinking about getting one.

If you want to do a full boil it is pretty much required. You can make your own from some copper tubing, tubing, worm clamps, and a hose quick disconnect (I did and I'm not that handy).
