what can add to my beer to get better head and lacing??? I have a nice foamy head when i pour the beer but in like ten minutes no head and no lacing????

You can add some carapils/carafoam/dextrin malt. If you're doing all grain or partial mash you can also raise your mash temperature a couple of degrees, and/or add some wheat malt to your mash.

Also, make sure your glassware is good for lacing. If you've put the glasses in the dishwasher, it could have soap or that "Jet dri" residue on it that will positively kill head retention.

An easy way to check that is to just moisten a glass and sprinkle inside with table salt. Using your hand, "scrub" the glass and over the rim with that salt. Then rinse well. And pour a beer in it.

Side from the glass, I notice I get better lacing on hoppier beers.
