Hi all,

I have my starter going. I was planning on cold crashing it tonight although it will have only been about 36 hours. How long does one need to cold crash it for? I am not brewing until about 3PM tomorrow, so I could theoretically put it in the fridge tomorrow at 7AM and bring it out around 3PM to decant. Or do I need to do it for longer? Please help!!!

you can either pitch it at the peak of fermentation or throw it in the fridge when its done and you will get a yeast layer on the bottom which you can pitch in...it shouldnt take too long-only until it settles out
